Ok i love my dx 200 but i am thinking of getting a real laser : ) i want between 300-325mw and the companies i was looking at was laserglow, optselectronsic, and nova now i have read that all 3 of these companies are really great companies.
what i was wanting to kno was what is the differnece between the nova 300mw and the optselectronics 300mw the opts appers to be a bit cheaper and has better beam divergence and a longer waranty so what is the diffrence between the 2 lasers?

I'm guessing you mean optotronics instead of optselectronics. The main difference between the two is size. Laserglow's Hercules are fairly large, they are handheld but as many people joke around and say they are big enough to use as a bat! They have a continuous duty cycle and have a removable battery compartment. Optotronics lasers are much smaller and more portable. They have a duty cycle of 5 minutes on and 2 off, which is still pretty good. They have great divergence too, <1.0 mRad. Which one is the best really comes down to your needs, because they are both great companies. If you are gonna be doing lab like experiments or need huge powers (400+mW) go for Laserglow's Hercules, if you want portabily that can fit in your pocket get Optotronics RPL series.

well optotronics in my opinion is a better built laser with a 12month warrenty, and they are tested so they cant be underpowered. But i hear Novas has high quality lasers also so you be the gudge

The wait is gonna be a killer because you know that in two months you are gonna get a 300mW green laser!

actually, bootleg2go said in another post that if you buy an RPL with the adjustable tailcap, and keep it at the setting recommended in the docs that come with it, you'll get full power and a 100% duty cycle :)
