i wanna buy some new glasses because mine broke you think these will be good enough to block out some green?

no these will not protect your eyes from a green laser what is does it enhances the beam of a red laser

It might, but you'll have no way of knowing unless you test it with a calibrated laser meter to calculate it's OD with 532nm green laser light.

It might be a very protective OD 6+, or it might be worthless. As trever22 says, they're made to help you see eye-safe 5mW red laser lines for use with power tools or survey equipment better.

If they block green well, or even at all, it's just a lucky accident.
