Will the 50mW Ledshoppe pop balloons

I'm looking for a cheap green laser and have heard good things about the ledshope pen. Will it pop balloons? And is the dot from a white wall dangerous to unprotected eyes if you don't stare directly at it

50mW green laser can't pop a balloon, if it's without lenses or if u are not using magnifying glass... About ledshoppe i can't tell anything, haven't bought from it, but how other people say, it is worth for such a low price to risk... let's say 25$ for 50mw blue/violet is damn cheap, and i dont believe that it really has 50mw or if it will run without burning itself... If you want a cheap burner, buy 200mW new style/adjustable red laser from O-like, or if u want, from rayfoss... Recommend it ! About cheap green lasers, that could burn, well... buy from DX 200mw module (it will have about 100-150mW) for 50$ and any simple pen style laser, then simply remove the module from old laser, and insert the new one... No hard work. There's also a tutorial made by styropyro in youtube... Your choice, and sorry for bad english.

I'm still waiting on it to get here. it has an adjustable lens so from what i understand it can pop balloons. i can let you know when it gets here. its about 48 with shipping. Honestly though, i would spend the few extra bucks and go for o-like rather than ledshoppe. Their lasers might be cheap but you get what you pay for. They will burn out much faster and might be under speck. plus without a lens to focus the light your going to need at least a 60mw laser to pop black balloons.

ya will do brosTito. And what one you want depends on what you want to do with it. Do you want it for color? for burning? star pointing?...

and as for the white wall thing. with 50mw you would be fine from a white wall but you might want to buy some green laser safety glasses if you do get the green one. just in case. usually there pretty expensive but focalprice has some for 7.99

i got a pair of those too. reviews on them say the build isn't amazing but it does filter out the 532nm light.

Guys: As some posters may know...I'm a huge fan of LED Shoppe for the relatively high quality lasers you get in such a low price range. I have -2- 50 mW green pointers, -1- 20mW keychain greenie and I'm still waiting for -1- blue/violet 50mW pointer.
Like the previous posts mentioned, it won't pop a balloon, but you will get a solid, bright green beam that blows away my old wicked laser 5mW which was 4x the cost. Also as noted in the previous posts, it is not the highest quality laser out there, BUT it is definitely one of the best of the cheap lasers....I've had my 50 and 20 mW greenies for 6 months and I use them fairly frequently (clubs and at DJ events outdoors) and they still work great. They've gotten perspiration soaked (jeans pocket) and rained on and no noticeable damage or degradation.

In styropyro's vid he pops a balloon with a 50mW with ease

Even his 30 pops in a few seconds

I'm pretty sure there focused though.

no, I used to own that laser, it shreded balloons real good, it's a good investment for a basic interest in lasers i guess.
