well, for my second laser, i wanted to buy something more powerful and with a good quality casing. Wicked lasers supposedly had the best around, so i went for it and bought a 35mw evo. i loved the way it looked and i wanted a laser with more power than my 5 mw cni model. when i got it, it wouldnt come on, so i fiddled with the battery cap and it came on, though it was really dim, and then it started modehopping, well, not to bad, and it started working better when i put some aluminum foil under the battery cap. but then i realized that it was only putting out about 20 mw, despite having a max output power <60mw, when i first saw this i thought "oh great, they sent me a more powerful model" but it turned out not to be. The build of the laser was great, its just the laser wasnt as powerful as it should have been. so i called up wl and they helped me out and i sent it back and got a refund. now i know not to order from wl again. the reason that they lure in so many noobs like myself in is because they have such a great designed site and so many inexperinced people righting them great reviews.... oh well, i learned my lesson, and now that ive sent back my laser, im not worried about them banning me from their site. :-?

I can confirm on the banning from their "community" forum.

Apparently, I bought 125mW from WL and another 75mW from TL. When I start comparing both, I noticed that 125 from WL had TEM01 problems. I know because I compare it with the 75mW that has a smooth TEM00 mode.

Because of my findings, I posted this comparison to their "community" forum and asked whether the 125mW is defective?

Some "laser god" answered that it could be a flaw and asked me to post some pictures. So i took some pictures. Minutes later, before I even had a chance to upload the pictures, the entire post was deleted and my username was banned from their "community".

Basically, I have nothing against WL. Perhaps that 125mW really have manufacturing flaws. Perhaps if their staff just reply my post, ask me to contact them via Support and locked the thread from further discussion, I'm still OK with it.

But what I don't like is the censorship (deletion and banning) in that forum, even though I did not violated any rules as posted by them.

If anyone from WL is reading this: Sorry WL, but that's not the right way to do business. You can say that this forum was created by some other companies to defame WL. But I WAS one of your loyal and first time customer and already i'm getting such a treatment.

Right after getting banned from their "community" forum, I decided to enter a support ticket for help.

Three days after, they finally replied asking me to send the 125mW back for RMA and promised to "reship a replacement immediately."

OK, I'm happy with their response so far and I'm going to return the item. Let's see if they can get this resolved and regain my loyalty again.
