Why do high powered green lasers seem so popular? Why do you like yours?

My main reason is being able to see the beam in the air.
That is so cool.
It was raining hard the other day and I pointed it out the door.
It blew my mind, how bright the beam and speckles were.:drool:

With out a doubt for me its the beam. In the night sky, rain, fog, or even indoors with an incense stick burning that beam is just stunning to look at :drool:

You better don't try to build your own green laser. Go ledshope.com and buy their 50mW green pen, it's only 20$.

Really, the cheapest and most amazing lasers for a starter are the green pointers. Leave the DIY for later xD

+1 on the ledshoppe
I like greens because people slow down while driving past my house at night and wonder where the ufo is that is trying to tractor beam my house away
