Yes it is 532nm. One seller on eBay claims his driver has no pot!

Although the diode may be able to take the current. Mine has worked so far. I think they're worth the price.

OK folks thanks for eveything so far. I won't be going with the 301/303's, could anyone look at my previous post on this thread and tell me if that's any good? It's the 60$ one - 100mw

Also, what's the biggest difference between a 80 and 100mw 532nm laser? You pay 20$ for 20mw more, why?

Although the price is like nothing of those 300 series, I might just take a guess and order me one as secondary green laser. What's the difference between the 301 and 303 tho?

Sorry for all them questions :)

Difference is slightly different hosts, they can be had for under $12 without batteries.

Any of the fat green military style laser on eBay will be most likely over spec.

I don't know why it costs more, but why don't you go for sci fi lasers? Please do check it out.

Here is a good one. SF501B 532nm Green

It will probably be my next laser!

If i were you i would PM thejoker301 here on LPF (sci-fi lasers founder) and ask when they will be in stock and if you can make payment, He sells good lasers and backs them up with excellent customer service, well worth the wait!

Lol I had a convo with him the other day, he's having trouble getting the diodes for the one I want. Could take a couple weeks.

I'll first just buy one from eGay for the heck of it.

Thanks :)

I have a 301 which measures 60mw on my LPM but I put a visible light filter in front of it, one that only lets infrared through and was surprised to find that a full third of its 60mw is infrared, not green. Still, for the price, a very nice little laser.

As long as the infared never goes in your eye.
But........making it do that is the problem. :(
