but on a plus note, if you buy from brew, you KNOW the laser will be up to spec (since he has a laser power meter :( :( i miss it!) and you'll get it ALOT sooner, and it's so much better to buy from a real person than from some shady character 5000 miles away, but if your going to go that route then go with o-like.com

I noticed that the last link says the output is 5-10mw and 80-100mw in the description. I noticed that the main differences seem to be the length of the warranty. I like the first link of the 80-100mw ones.

I'm amazed.

it's great compared to what? People think that a 5mW red laser pointer is GREAT until they see something else -.-

I don't want to argue with a bunch of people who actually know what they are talking about, but in early 06 I purchased my WL Fusion, and it has worked well up until now. I always kept it in its case when not in use, and I was gentle when using it. All I want to say is that they are not complete shit like what others are saying.

Sure it works, but I'm sure I can get you a laser from DX with the same output than yours for half the price. I'm not saying wickedlasers lasers do not work, sure they do, but not at the level they should for the price you pay!

I don't think anyone said that DX sells "good" lasers ... Reread the posts and actually try and get the cost issue out of your head (just because they're cheaper than anyone else doesn't mean that somehow, miraculously someone will recommend them and give you a reason to buy cheap crap!) ... O-like (and to a lesser extent, Rayfoss) is your best bet for low-buck lasers that will always be what you pay for, from there you start looking at the low-end Optotronics stuff (very consistant and high=quality, just a bit more money) and then you start looking at spending some real money for CNI, Optotronics higher-end, or Laserglow.

Sure, but he's looking for a cheap green laser pointer, and I doubt the true 30mW green laser pointer from DX has anything worse than any other 30mW laser pointer you can find on any of the sites you just stated. OFC, AND I REPEAT, OF COURSE, don't go DX for any other laser that isn't a cheap pointer pen!

Yours,
Albert

After some research on the forum, I think I'll go for O-like.com. Do you have any experience with the two lasers I'm considering from O-like, Albert?

You didn't give me time!

I was going to say you those are good pens, but consider that the duty cycle on the unit you purchased is REALLY short, I mean the power will only be 120mW for some seconds, then go down. This is why I suggest a flashlight style from rayfoss.

For less than what you paid you have really good lasers from rayfoss that except for the size will beat that pen.

Anyway, good luck and tell us about it ;)

Well, I haven't bought it yet. I met some problems with the payment system at O-like.com. Actually, I still don't know if I'm going to buy the 80-100 mW or the 120 mW...

Does this happen to all pens with 120 mW or more? What is ithe maximum limit of power for a steady beam?
