Where to find LOW-POWERED green lasers?

Hi guys, this may be a noob question, but I've already looked in the buying guide, and tried the search to no avail.

I'm looking for green lasers that have a max output of 5mW of less (basically to stick with U.S. laws). I'm looking for value - pens that are solidly constructed and have <5 mW output, but none of the fancy chrome-plated housing that pushes up the price. I know that even reputable "cheap" sellers tend to have overspeced lasers labeled as 5mW. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm pretty sure U.S. laws only control the importation of lasers that are over 5mW, meaning you can build your own laser which is higher than 5mW.

It is hard to find an actual 5mW, usually they are higher than they claim when it comes to 1-10mW lasers. So, your best bet would be to build one your own as you can have any power you want, or just buy a "5mW" laser and pot mod it down if it is higher than 5mW, but you would need a LPM.

Laserglow! guaranteed <5mW and fantastic quality. though you'll notice that they are a bit pricier than the cheap chinese greenies. though, the cheap chinese greenies will produce much more than 5mW, regardless of what the sticker says. http://www.laserglow.com/int-handheld.htm

Thanks, Ferd! I'm not crazy about the price (I mean, $6/piece for bulk shipping is so hard to beat from Chinese manufacturers), but a $30 (bulk) price tag is manageable considering it's got an IR filter and probably has better QC.

@Paul, I figured that it's always possible, but I don't feel like pot modding every single pointer that arrives. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Oh sorry, I didn't realize that you were going to order bulk. In that case, go with laserglow or dragonlasers.
