Let me start off by saying how excited I am to be part of this forum, I really think this is going to be a great hobby for me. But I'm trying to get off the ground and get some direction. I got a Wicker Lasers Core and pot modded it like a year ago (yeah, I know, I was just looking for a cool laser). Since then I have been on here reading reviews and discussion about different lasers. I want to invest in a good green laser to start doing some experiments with and doing some neat stuff. I don't want to take it apart or anything, just something fun. All of the burning stuff is insanely cool, undeniably. But what I'm looking for is some stuff that peeves me about my Core.
I'm looking for a green laser than has GREAT range (I love pointing at the mountains and stars), little divergence, and a more focused beam. The whole visible beam is beautiful to me too. Again, the burning stuff is great, but not what I'm after most.
After sifting through the reviews, I feel like the NOVA lasers are really great stuff and I like the price, but could anyone help distill some information to me?
Greatly appreciated,
Kyle
EDIT:
After reading more, I'm REALLY diggin the O-like 400mW because of the price and the power and I hear it is a RPL, so quality is good. Thought?
