Mine was a Wicked Lasers evo 35, it was OK, but sometimes you had to shake it for it to turn on. I bought it about 4 months ago when I thought that Wicked was the only company to buy from. Little did I know, I could have spent the same $200 and bought an X100 from nova that averages over 100mW, with much better customer service too. Well, anyway, what was your first >5mW greenie?

Mine was a leadlight that I bought for >$100 back 4 or 5 years ago. I pot modded it up to 30mW or so. You should have seen the WL website back then. Their prices were much more reasonable. At one point you could get 2 for the price of 1 on their >75mW CNI lasers.

<100mw from laser pointer king via a auction site. It was fun and I still remember how unbeliveible it was when I first pressed the button. How bright the light was and the green colour. It was the first time I ever saw green laser light. It's dead now, but soon I have a x-125 nova :D

Yeah, that's how I felt when I saw my friend's leadlight for the first time. It was about 10mW, but I was blown away by the visibility of the beam. I asked him where to get powerful green lasers, and he led me to wicked.

PS. On tuesday I'll have my Nova Alpha 125!

A laserglow Aries-35. I was completely blown away by how bright it was at night and how it could hit stuff miles away.

It blows me away that LG would make such a huge, bulky, 5-point safety'd unit with a whopping 35mW.

My first laser was an 'Advanced' 35mW for $150 from Wickedlasers, when they sold CNI a few years ago. I got a freak and ended up with 75-85mW instead of 35. It was really great, and I miss the CNI pen a lot. I'm going to have to buy one really soon for nostalgia.

lol I bought it when I was completely new to this and didn't know you could just buy a true 50 on dx for 1/5 of the price.

I'm not saying you made a stupid decision for buying it, I'm saying LG made a questionable decision stocking 35mW in a body clearly designed for much higher outputs, like 350mW.

my first was a 5mw laser from discounttown on ebay, it was like a lead light, i got into the lasers when i saw the WL add i thought they were the only company qho sold burning lasers , but i was wrong

my first was one of them crappy 7mw ebaysers, i was amazed at the beam, then it died. My next laser was a DX 30, much better than the ebayser.

I had the exact same laser!  I pot modded it as well.  Unfortunatley, pot modding it only brought it up to 4 mW, and it was still TEM01.  I paid $50 for it too  :D.  

So, technically, my evo 35 was my first more than 5mW greenie.

My 1st Green laser was the Nova X75. i always wanted a green laser and after i found this forum i did allot of research and looked at prices i got the x75.

MPO NewWish bd-5, 5mw, its got that wier ring around the dot tho, no idea whats wrong with it, got it like 1 month ago 15$ on ebay
