Hey guys I'm looking for a >1W labby. I don't know what these actually run.

I was looking at DHOM lab lasers and was told there very good. I don't know anything about them price wise so I was hoping I could maybe get a general quote. I'm not looking for a viasho or cni labby just a Chinese generic like DHOM.

DHOM has these for sale @ 888$ USD/free shipping. Plus a make offer button.

What would be a "Good" buy be. I'm moreless looking for a steal.Oh and it has to be new.

You can get one from CNI or Viasho for a little north of $1k - I think $1100 or $1200. CNI might be a few hundred dollars higher though, in the neighborhood of $1500.

I think Lasever has systems for around $800-840. DHOM is pretty nice too.

Which system you go with depends heavily upon your use and requirements of it. What are you going to be doing with it?

Trevor Thank you for the estimates. I am just trying to get a system for a real good bargain. What I plan to do with it is secret ;) but I can say I don't really need a super outstanding setup. If I can get a cni, viasho, DHOM, extra for a "real" good price that's all I care about.

CNI and Viasho are good for demanding scanner setups. I've seen Lasever used some, and haven't personally read anything about DHOM getting used, but I don't browse PL much. Someone else might be able to chime in and give you better info for that.

If you just want a super visible green beam, get a fog machine. :p

Thanks again for the info! Though should I make a scanner setup I don't think my electronics/mechanical skills are good enough to produce anything but maybe a pile of ashes :evil: So for my needs cheaper is better! :) Plus I've heard some nice things about DHOM. If I manage to get whole of one ill definitely post my findings and spec's about. I've been told they are rumored to be of viasho/cni quality. I wouldn't know this but its what I've read/been told. Again thanks again for the estimates. Ill definetly try to get a bargain now that I have some ballpark estimates.

If you don't necessarily want to go new, you can get a brand name labby for about 1k even if you look around places like PL.

The guys over there have lasers being ejected from their noses when they sneeze!

Thanks guys. I bought a 1W rated DHOM system from meierlight.china on ebay. I made an offer and they accepted. Ill be doing a review when I get it. Also in other news.... i bought a Wicked Lasers Evo Pro off ebay. Managed to get it for a STEAL! Ill be doing some testing that in a few days! :D.... Ill also possibly be selling some lasers soon... Not because i need too but because i will have TOO MANY! So hope you all will look forward to that :D
