I do not want to mess anything up with my laser and I am wondering what the best possible batteries are for my laser. must I use lithiums or alkaline or can I use both. tell me some batts that are easy to get for any price. thanks. I also want to take advantage of maximum power.

energizer lithiums or eneloops. Don't use alkalines, my X125 starts losing power in only 10 minutes of use with them.

don't leave it on for more than 45 seconds and after about 30 seconds of use let it cool for about 20 seconds if you want it to last a long time ;)

I have been using enloops and I notice the gradual drop off as with alkalines is gone, the enloops seem to run solid in my nova X50mw then in the end drop off!
