I've ordered an O like 50mW green module.
The dc voltage I will using is 4.5 volts. Is this to much and the laser will broke?
Otherwise I'm planning to use a potmeter to drop de Voltage and measure it with a voltmeter . Someone an another idea for dropping the voltage and how low I need to go? It's for continue voltage but I've a good heatsink.
The laser is for my Mobile home. there's a voltage dropper from 12 volt to 4.5 volt. I've connected some Rgb leds to this and I want to connect this laser too on this voltage dropper

4.5V may blow the o-like module as they are only rated up to 4.2V input.

Just put a rectifier diode or two in series, like a 1N40xx, they will slice off 0.7v each.;)
