Hello.

Currently I have Rayfoss RF-532 200mw. I want to buy 400mw razerer green laser.

I'm curious, from 200mW to 400mW 532nm, will the beam be significantly brighter? Or is just the burning that changes? The 1W blue laser should I buy?

400mW will appear brighter than 200mW, but it won't be twice as bright. The basic rule of thumb is in order to show the appearance of twice the brightness, you need four times as much power.

If you're looking for burning power a 1W+ 445nm would be a much better choice.

Also if you already have a decent up to spec green... 445nm would be the way to go.

Please make sure you have proper goggles, at least OD 3 if you're going to be burning with a 1W+ laser.

Thank you. Do you recommend the Dragonlasers 1W Spartan for 447nm?
I got $ 250. What do you recommend? Duty Circle be long. ( at least 60 seconds )

I would go with one of the lasers for sale from members here... I know Bounty has a 1.7W Jayrob Kit Maglite build for sale right now (along with other lasers) and that thing has a massive heatsink... you can probably run it for five minutes at a time easily.

Definitely don't go with the spartan though... it's better than the arctic but also has some mixed reviews.

Yobresal, survival laser, jayrob's kits, there are a few lasers for sale in the B/S/T.

You can also go with chinese companies like lazerer, o-like or rayfoss.

Look around, I'm sure you'll see something you like.

My English is not very good. I guess I can not buy used lasers. Would you recommend unused product? :)

Dragonlasers.com is fine. But lazerer.com guarantees the output of your laser with a specification sheet at a small charge.

if you want the most bang for your buck, take your time and look at the buy, sell, trade threads. a few members will build you a new laser or you may buy a very simple to assemble kit.
