Very Nice LedShoppe

Got my 50mW Green Pointer today from LedShoppe, fast shipping too, it only took 11 days from day of order. I also ordered 5 cheap 5mW from ebay before I ordered the 50mW which still hasn't arrived after almost 3 weeks. I wouldn't have ordered from ebay if I had known this forum. But these 5mW will be given to responsible teens.

Thanks to those who recommended the 50mW from LedShoppe. It's very bright, thin and very visible beam, batteries that came with it still good too. I like the silver and black look.

In the future I might want a 100+ mW....who to buy from?

Isn't this an oxymoron :crackup: I kid. Just be sure to educate them on proper laser safety... Dont point at anything living or any manned vehicle especially aircraft.

Welcome. I did the exact same thing...after a few weeks of dealing with different sources, I finally decided on the same pointer with LEDShoppe. They take credit cards, shipping is free and the quality seems very good for this price range. It just arrived a few weeks back and I couldn't be happier. I'm thinking of also order the smaller keychain version (30mW).

For the 100+ in the same lower end price range, I've heard very good things about O-Like and Rayfoss. I don't think you'll go wrong with them. Good luck.

i ordered it too, i think it might be shipped today, but i live in brazil; u know: our posts are VERY fast - usually internal mail is surprisingly fast - but incoming international packings are usually very delayed... i always check it on usps for instance: it is the time leaving usa that takes a long time... maybe US post is slow.... dunno....
anyway: i have my fingers crossed - that it'll arrive undamaged! even if it takes longer!

Tudo bem! I just got back from visiting frinds in Sao Paolo. Your package from LEDShoppe may take at least 3-4 weeks to be delivered to Brazil; I live in NYC and the post took about two and 1/2 weeks. Although it was sent air, I'm not sure it was sent USPS Priority; it was in a simple small envelope wrapped in some bubble wrap and was likely the cheapest form of mail, so it definitely takes a bit longer than some of the other higher end shops I ordered from in the past (e.g., Wicked Laser (also shipping from China) spent a bit more on postage and the USPS package came in just 5 days).
You should be able to track your package from the LEDShoppe shipping site. Just enter the shipping code into the link the provide (the shipping code should start with the letters HK). Good Luck
