In the USA: Best deal on a 50mw green laser?

Hi, I been browsing on dealextreme and they had some very good prices but its seems like they do not ship laser higher than 5 mw to the US. Can anyone tell of a place I can get a good reliable 50mw green laser for a good price in the US?

Wejll lets see, there is SkyPointer you will have to ask for the higher mW lasers as they are not advertised and Howies lasers have a 1yr warranty with the lowest beam divergence you'll ever find, about <0.4mrad. My 50mW cost me about $180.00, like I said, these are great lasers and they are guaronteed. For example, I can shine my 165mW green laser at a building (during the daytime) and then shine the 50mW at the same building and I can see the 50mW farther away because of the much smaller laser dot. The other option is Optotronics Laser Products and here you can find great lasers too. His premium +55mW laser is $96.00

Hey Emc2, thanks for the info. But I'm not looking to pay $180 or $96 for a laser. DealExtreme has the 50mw for $20.90. Is there anywhere I can get one for $50 for less.

Well yes there is... amazon.com has the green 50mW green lasers for under $30.00 but take in mind a frind of mine had ordered one and it was not up to spec. It was no brighter than his 20mW and he sent it back, got another one, it too was 20mW or less and advertised as a 50mW. Most of the so called 50mW lasers for under $30 are not very good and don't put out the advertised mW. I would go to amazon and read the reviews of these first before buying one.

O-like.com has some good greens I think.

I'd say go with o-like. They test their lasers, if you look around the forum everyone seems to love them. And they're cheap!!! Excellent prices too

hey that miracle beam has three or four different lasers in those pics lol one is a newish one a leadlight thre other some other cheapo be carefull


get the dealextreme 5mw true laser i have bout 20 of them and the were all 12mw-65 only one was 12 that was the lowest i trhink but even 12mw for 10.50 is a deal
and they are ir filtered i took one apart lol

Basically, most of the ones on FocalPrice are cheap like DealExtreme, but the one I linked has a good review by JayRob, and I too have that one (not the LEDShoppe one, but the LEDShoppe one has great reviews too), and the FP one I'd say is quite bright and is in a more unique case. Personally, I think you'll love it.
