The UltraFire 90mW topic

I didn't get that e-mail till the 30th. And that was 4 days after the status of the order went from "waiting for supplier" to "packaging" to "packaged" to "ready for shipment shortly"

I'm about to get a 100mW version of the same WF-501B UltraFire from Kaidomain but it's twice as much money and I don't know if ordering from Kaidomain would be any better...so I don't know what to do.

maybe thers some sort of typo. like maybe the lasers we bought were the last of them, so ours is still going to be shipped, but there are no more remaining so it tells us they're back ordered. that one guy that made the review got his, and it was between the 11th till now that he posted it.

whats teh link to that laser so i can browse the invintory?

That e-mail can't be a typo though...
and that guy could have ordered before the 11th and gotten the only one or something...idk the whole thing is a huge mess

No...but I do know some have waited as long as a couple of months before they received their lasers from them. You will get it...it is just a question of when.

what have people's experiences with kaidomain been? would i get it from there a lot sooner? even at twice the price, it's still the cheapest 100mW I can find...and I already ordered CR123 batteries and charger...

Do you need a 100mw laser? Have you thought about a Nova X series? You seem to be in a hurry and you could have one within a few days with express shipping.

I purchased this laser from Kaidomain.. It failed in short order and is on its way back to Hong Kong. It cost me $12. to send it back and they are holding a replacement laser pending their receipt of the defective laser... More waiting. I guess it's the nature of doing business with China.

Wow i just realized that ALL of the UltraFire Lasers are backordered, not just the 90mW.

btw what's the difference between when it says "backordered" and when it says "Item is temporarily sold out"

I would LOVE to have a laser from NOVA. I have heard such wonderful things about them on this forum (I plan on getting an IR filter from them-if I ever get the laser). I don't need 100mW, but even the X15 is $80 and I need more than 15mW. Also, I like the rugged flashlight style. If I could afford the Alpha series I would buy one in a heartbeat, but my computer recently died and I'm ordering another one hopefully this week which is going to put me out a good $2,000. I'm just a senior in high school, so all the money I make at my job I put straight into the bank for college, so I don't have much to spend. Plus my 30gb Zune is full so I need to get one of the new 80gb

So anyways, yes I really wish I could get a NOVA laser, but unfortunately they are just too expensive, and even though the price may be worth it, I simply can't afford it.

This makes me hesitant to get any UltraFire even from Kaidomain. And I haven't heard the greatest stuff about Kaidomain either. I'm at a complete loss as to what to do.

try being a sophomore buddy, even harder. i dont have a job yet lol. i barely get money, i had to save a couple months for this.

i have a feeling this will turn into a very long thread while we wait for this.

get a job then...I had this job when I was a sophomore.

and yea. we will all sit here and moan and complain about how long we've waited and how we want our lasers now. seriously though, this is ridiculous. I mean, they didn't have to wait a month to tell me it wasn't in stock, and the whole status thing is just crazy. They should hire some people from NOVA.

i wonder if when they first get an item they get a very small quantity, then if people start buying it they get larger quantities, thats what it seems like to me.

yea i think ill be getting a job here after the new year maybe.

yea it seems like they only had 1 to start off with...does anyone know who their supplier is? then maybe we could order straight through them and "slip the middle man"

DX says my 50/100W stage laser was sent 12/2 .
Now I'm glad I canceled my 90mW Ultrafire 12/15 after a 2 week wait.

Get this: I ordered 3, 10mW stainless steel keychains greens that Timelord recommened and DX wrote they were in stock to be packaged and then the status changed to waiting on supplier.
Well anything goes there @DX. They wrote the canceled 90mW Ultrafire was shipped with a rifle scope but I got the scope but no Ultrafire (I expectected that). Longest shipping time ever from DX for me 11/8-12/3. Customs? gun scope flagged maybee!

Ziplock bagit when it's cold. Warmitup,then open bag, prevent condensation!
Batterys connections are flaky, current varies, buttons drop voltage, beam will let you know.
