has anyone actually recieved their ultrafire...? ive been waiting weeks for this thing to come.

yes i recieved mine, and told my saddening story, about how it really was 90mW but i ended up breaking it, so now im going to return it for another one.

Thanks.... although it would be nice to see a close up of the front, it is obviously an open can..lol. Interesting indeed.

The can was twisted off, it is the little metal object to the right of the diode.
What part do you want me to photograph? The front of the unit is just an adjustable focus lens.

Oops...sorry...I understand now...I missed the part of your post where you said the can was twisted off. I finally get it... ;D

This is the diode I pulled out of my true 50, I believe it is quite similar.. But there was no can on this one.

Thanks for posting the pic. of that...it looks like a powerful little bugger...maybe 500mw's? Just guessing.

I havent tested it yet, but its 9mm! no dinky 5.6. But I think that the yag crystal is attached, im not sure of course. Still too new at all this to tell. But im sure that someone will post the answer to that. There is much wisdom around here

Also, even the cheap little new wish 5mw's draw more than 400ma's and produce 20mw of green
