it would be nice if there was a cheap host that did this, or a cheapo host with a crappy laser/led bulb that you could rip out the guts and put a good module in it.

There are, sorry i don't have links at the moment though. They are small laser projectors you can get for several bucks with two adjustable speed motor/mirrors. I believe some people have dismantled these and replaced the red LD with 803T's or even small green modules. Then agian, nothing is stopping you from making your own like myself :D

Is there anywhere like dx or focalprice that sell little round mirrors, or any extremely cheap gadgets that are good for ripping out the mirrors or as host for handheld spirograph/tunnel.
