*CRAP - Meant to post this in General Chat but fat fingered the mouse :( * sorry :(

Just got my parts in from ModWerx today and wanted to wire everything up for:

1 PHR-803T BR
1 SF-AW210 BR
2 LCC 650nm Red

And just realized like a fool I forgot to order 1 Ohm resistors.... not paying attention my drawer had 100 Ohm resistors :(

Can I use a wire wound 1 ohm 10W resistor in its place :) ?

1.0 ohm 10W 10% Wirewound Resistor (2-Pack) - RadioShack.com

Something like that? It need not be tiny or pretty... just functional with either 4 or 6 diodes in series for the BR/Red LD's for load tests .

A 1 Ohm resistor is a 1 Ohm resistor...
The higher wattage rating is only for greater
heat dissipation...

It is still a 1 Ohm resistor.. an it is fine to use..
