I'm extremely happy with my #100 so far, though I would like it if the button was just a tad bit farther up.

I ordered one, I need to pick up like 6 3.7v cr123 batterys. I have 6 of the 3.0v lifepo but I use 2 of them in my ecig, and 2 in the wife's. So only 2 to go between my 1w 445 (uses 2) and soon to be this green.

Hey, I've seen these ecigs on certain chinese websites. Are they any good?

They work fine, but most of the chinese based ones are garbage. Quality brands are the way to go, like joye or most of the cheap dse series. I dont use the normal style batteries, I use a "mod". My host is a short length of 3/4 copper pipe, long enough to hold 2x cr123a 3v batteries. 2 end caps, one with the atty connector and a momentary switch.

Been using an ecig for almost 2 years now, works great. Its very cheap in the long run too!

Do it really taste like cig smoke? and feel like it when it hits your lungs? You know the feeling I mean.

I hope next month he comes out with a super #200 and it's like 300 mw with a higher volt battery :D

I emailed this seller a week or so back asking if he had a higher powered green SB but 100mW was the highest he had

Sorta, its closer to an indian hookah since thats vaporizing the tobacco. If you use a high strength nicotine juice you can feel it in your throat in lungs, its nice.

I ordered one after every here was getting quite excited about these #100's. I didn't get the lpf discount, but a couple of bucks won't kill me. I will post my plot out when I get some time. I should be getting my laser when the mail comes today!

I have ordered a few lasers from them before and all of them have hit the 50mw marker and only one of them has died, so they seem to have a fairly good product.

That sounds good! I actually have an indian type of hookah, and about 9 different flavors of shisha tobacco. Haven't smoked it in a while though.

I did quit smoking cigs almost exactly a year ago today, but didn't quit nicotine. I still use snus daily, and an occasional cigar. Now I'm curious about these ecigs!

(sorry everyone, I'll stop talking off topic now=)

It has a slightly different heatsink top. But probably same module and host. And the 50 mw would be the same as the super beast green. The $45 one would be the same as the #100.

No no no

There is no way short of disassembling the lasers and comparing components to to determine if they are the same. The super beast is quite unique in that it is cheap AND seems to consistently live up to or exceed its claimed spec. Almost all of the lasers you find on cheap chinese retailers sites that claim over 50mW will be under spec. A test was done recently and an advertised 500mW laser was metered and it maxed out at 52mW

Item quick ship is somehow getting these from a reliable supplier which is unheard of.

Hey Guys,

Thought you guys would enjoy a Graph of My Super Beast 006's total output vs. IR output; here they are:

Super Beast #006 Total Output (Laserbee I)

4590-iqs-super-beast-green-532nm.jpg

As you can see it perfomes nicely with a 3.7v AW RCR 123 battery, with a max at 64mW and average of ~45mW.

Super Beast #006 IR Output (Laserbee I filtered w/532 goggles)

4591-iqs-super-beast-green-532nm-ir-reading.jpg

This is a graph plotting the IR output of the superbeast having the beam travel through my goggles on its way to the thermopile. Max of 19mW, although you can pretty much see a steady 19mW of IR light throughout.

So in conclusion, thats 64mw Total max, with a 19mW IR max, so then (19/64)*100 = 29.6875 so thats about 30% IR on the Superbeast 006. Not too shabby, anything from ebay thats less than 40% IR is cause for celebration

Very nice plots. IIRC, that's about what the #100 puts out too. I'll run an IR plot when time permits.
