Welp this morning I ordered this

LZSK - Stick 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

along with the comparable glasses. Still kind of worried about the IR protection the glasses will have, the site says they don't have any filter of IR within them, but it's better than no protection I guess.

Can't wait to get it! Will do a little unboxing/review thing when it comes...hopefully before next weekend!

I bought that same exact laser back in january. First one came in at 105mW and 10mW of IR (tailcap seized on me so had to send it back for a replacement). $20 later and a month later got the replacement. did 108mW with 14mW of IR. I tested it on my LPM and it did 128mW with 45mW of IR. I think my IR filter was junk so i bought a new one since then but havent tested it out again.

You have to be careful of IR and if you bought glasses from lazerer, you need to be careful with those as well. they are not the greatest glasses but as you said, better than nothing

yeah its been good to me so far :D like my 400mW LaserBtb one better but i pick this one over that for certain things

Awesome, good news! I was torn between the cyber and stick models, but I like this one more from reviews/pictures. I still don't know the main difference between the two, pretty sureit's just the tube they're in.

Ordered it last Sunday, so I'm expecting it early next week. :(

order from the USA next time ;)
532nm are hard and most come from china so kinda stuck in that sense. Anything else, we can build in the USA! Had a guy contact me for a 445nm laser. ordered the parts for it Sunday, parts arrived Tuesday and was built 2 hours after work. ready to ship out 2-3 day flat rate next day. no customs to worry about either. had i had the parts on hand, he could get it in 1-3 days :D

Every interested in buying another laser, let me know. can build you one quick and easy. interested in a 2.16W 445nm then let me know, its for sale ;)

I was trying to find one on the classies so I could avoid the customs wait, but there wasn't one like what I wanted.

I foresee this becoming a new hobby, so I'll definitely keep ya in mind man, appreciate the heads up! :)
