The portable I got and returned was ~ 750 mW as I recall. I could almost feel thrust as I held it. What is coming is whatever Steve sends to me. The meters won't lie. I don't know if I had a KRYPTON prototype or what. I made some tests, reported back and returned the laser. I wish I had kept it !!!
To be honest, trying to measure 700+ mW of green is scarry. Please be careful with these.

Just a rememberance --- When I got that prototype, I said to myself, "SO WHAT" and powered up in the living room and shut it off.!! ALWAYS USE EYEWARE with the ~1 Watt Krypton --- No S--T.

1 watt 532 is just a lilbit brighter then 500 mW and why wear eye protection ? the better is then to just buy 30 mW 532 without stupid goggles cuz with them 500 mW looks like 50mW lol

OK --- I don't fully understand.
I have the Starwarz carbine at ~15 Watts CO2. I'm careful with my eyes. The WL 700+ mW lasers deserve extra safety measures -- they are that bright.

I will review but the weather is getting cold outside for long range divergence tests.

so about 1/3 of what they say is true. 1/3 x 1000mw = 330mw

Wow, Cyparagon's link brings back memories of the first generation Spyder I bought years ago!

lol @ "zero thermal performance degradation"

After returning 2 Spyders (1st one had no IR filter & 2nd one died as soon as I put in fresh batteries), my 3rd Spyder maintained its claimed output for only a minute and then it would suddenly lose over half its power. :(

Why would anyone here want to pay close to a grand for an underspec laser?

I think people here would only consider it if WL slashed the price to under $500 and could provide a personalized LPM video for every Krypton sent out.

Gray from Jetlasers offers a similar 600-700mW greenie for only $560 and he is willing to create a LPM video of your laser before he ships it out.

I just want it to be noted that all "review " units we have seen on here have beenfrom members with a good relationship with "steve" (not his real name)
