I wanna buy a new green laser, but I really don't know where and which one.
It should have an output of at least 200mW (of green light ofc and not ir). I hope you can help me out. I'm from Germany btw.

And by the way, I heard that some japanese scientists successfully developed a green laser diode (no ir conversion) some years ago. Is that true? And are these already available for good prices?

What do you think about the following lasers, what actual output power and lifetime can I expect?
Hotitem Newest Focusable 1000mW 532nm Green Laser Flashlight with Battery Set (1*18650) - Free Shipping
200mW Green Laser Pointer Pen Black - Free Shipping
Focusable 1000mw green laser flashlight high power laser flashlight - Free Shipping

Best regards,
nomnom :)

Back when dx was selling the lasers via dealextreme.com I made some really good experiences with them. So I think this guy just had bad luck or lived in the wrong country.
They also sent me a new laser when mine was broken.
However, if you know a better shop, tell me. :)

Prices on this site look okay.
Does this laser use an actual green diode? Or is this the same old ir frequency doubler technique? HL 520nm 30mW-150mW

I assume that I can rely on the specs of any laser from this site?

Awesome, but it only has 150mW.
May I ask what the advantages/disadvantages are?
Direct diode is more expensive, but I can be sure that the output is 520 only, without IR.
I'm wondering about the lifetime and "sensitivity", would you say that it's worth the money?
And about the color do you have a good picture/video that shows what kind of green I can expect?

Yes, you won't have to worry about IR at all. Guarantee!

I can't tell you it's expected "lifetime" but I can provide you with a video which compares 520nm to 532nm. Video below:

There's nothing wrong with the DPSS greens from laserbtb, mine mode hops a fair bit but for a high power handheld that's normal. The actual brightness of the output is bright and consistent, you can only tell it's mode hopping if you're really looking for it. Mine works whether it's cold or hot (as a good DPSSL green should) and I love the green colour of 532. I think now with the price of diode greens dropping it's a matter of do you prefer the colour of 532 or 520.

It looks more turquoise than green tbh. I don't really like it.

I'm also wondering which green appears brighter to the human eye.

What about the divergence of the diode laser, is it pretty much the same?
