SNOCTONY 50mW Green Laser

Hi guys,
I dunno if i was too hasty or whatever i saw this laser on ebay. High power 532nm wavelength 50mw green laser pointer!!!

i looked at the specs and it looks good, not like the pen ones its more like the Laserglow Aries Series lasers thats heatsink cooled. Anyhow i hope thats worth it while i build my little red light sabre

Sorry to tell you this, but although there is no proof yet, these lasers are highly suspect for being unfiltered, low-quality lasers. A scam website, Spymode, originally sold underspec/IR spewing pen-size lasers such as 150mWs that only put out ~20-40mW. Later on, they also started selling those bigger ones, and all signs pointed to it being more of the same BS. If possible, you may want to return the laser for a refund, although it doesn't seem like you ended up paying too much for it anyway.

Pseudo - I agree 100% - it is kinda a shame to see Snoctony stoop to that level, unless he has tested the lasers, and certified them to be decent

Only nasty thing is the delivery anyway of getting it tested at all ? it'll be good to see, theres a few reasons why i got this one though even though it might be a little underpowered even though hes boasting its power rating is above 50mW is that its actually got a air cooled heatsink as compared to the heatsinks inside the pen ones. Allu-brass heatsink. I'm pretty much fully prepared to see what i get tho. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR   but hey its worth a try.
