simple idea - complicated execution?

Ok, so I am an absolute layman to the world of lasers, yet I would like to utilize one in a very specific way onstage and would be grateful for any thoughts or ideas :)

I have an old gramophone horn and want to install a green laser into it, which means it can only have a certain size (around 15-20 cm in height, maximum; length doesnt really matter) and it would be great to be able to not only just create a single beam, but also a line (which, with a hazer, would become a wall) of light as well as a tunnel (which I imagine would be kinda cool coming out of a hornshaped object) so what I need is a good green laser with the possibility to create these (i hope) simple shapes and that possibly remotely changeable. I was hoping that around £200 would be enough of a budget, but if that is completely ridiculous I'd be willing to spend more.

This may be a very simple question to ask, but I have been searching for the past few weeks and with not much background in this metier haven't really gotten anywhere useful yet. So any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

My general experience with these things is that the idea seems very simple to me, yet the execution is way more complex, but I would be very happy to be proven wrong on this :)

thank you all a lot and have a great day!

Yup, the idea is simple, but the execution would be difficult to create a tunnel effect.

To create kind of a wall of light, you just need a sufficiently powerful laser, and a line generator lens: line and cross line generator lens [OL-L-8mm] - $3.00 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

I would try that first with a 50, or 100mW green laser to start off with (they are relatively cheap, under $100) and see if you like the effect. For the tunnel effect, expect to revise your budget up...

Thank you very much for your help and that link.
I thought that it might be complicated, but I guess I will just have to go even simpler than I thought. Nothing wrong with that though, I am only just starting anyways :)
