I can't speak for the SkyLaser Pl 532nm 700mW. but I did an in-depth review of the JETLASERS PL-E - 600mW laser. See it in the 'REVIEW' section under the title "JETLASERS DOES IT AGAIN". Photos included albeit not very good ones as they were done with my phones camera. Might help you decide ? phoenix77 / rob

Both would be good, but my vote is also for the PL-E. The design is much more aesthetically pleasing IMO.

While Skylasers service has been exemplary also, I've dealt with Jetlasers/Gray several times, and just can't think of a nicer guy to work with.

After looking at your review I think I'm sold on the PL-E. If your 600 got up into the 8's what do you think the 700 would do? Going to hunt down your beamshots now in multimedia.

Do you have any pictures of it in your hand or something like that for size reference?

I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than what the 600's shoot for. You'll soon learn there's only so much power that can be advertised on spec.

Jetlasers PL-E is the better product in many ways, stability, duty cycle , looks, output, construction, quality--plus thier customer service is the best---if there is a problem they reimburse you for shipping it back for repair or replacement for example.

I have the Skylaser PL532 - 700 and the Jetlaser Ti-B green. Both companies are good. They are reliable shops. I have dealt with Kevin and Gray too and everything went smooth.

Click for both lasers in my signature.

Not all laser are so overspec....my 500 Pl-e is just on spec .. my 400 PL-e is almost 600mw

go figure.

The Sky laser i have is almost 200 mw over.

The best costomer service is Jet. but again don't always count on it being way overspec.

The Pl-e host is certainly more robust. If your shooting for a 700 mw i'd likely go with Jet,
but Sky makes an excellent product as well.

Flip a coin!!

Sorry, but I didn't feel like takin' a pic then the re-sizing, up-loading etc. etc. so I just picked up a Caliper & measured it. It's 10.0393701 inches long (~255mm) with a diameter of 1.57480315 inches (~40mm). Just lazy today, lol !
Glad my review helped you to make a more informed decision & I'm sure that Gray & JETLASERS do also. In my opinion you made the correct decision although I once again remind you that I have had NO OPPORTUNITY to test & review a comparable Model SKYlASERS product. Besides the OUT-STANDING SPECS for the PL-E I just really dig the appearance of the JETLASERS UNIT, although had I PURCHASED the PL-E instead of acquiring the unit for review, I would have ordered the host in black not silver. The black finish would REALLY make the PL-E look more sinister & deadly.

Shiny things keep my attention so I'm going to order the metallic one. I'm like barracuda! haha.

I too am in the market for a greenie. And as for jet lasers pl-e, the housing options only show it as metallic and military green? Now i'm abit confused as to wether military green is actually green or black?

Also their 300mW model, when i switch between the housing options, there is no price difference
PL-E Mechanical switch 300mW Green Lasers 532nm, focusable, jetlasers.

And their 300-800mW model, Switching to military green incurs a price jump of $45
?? PL-E Mechanical Switch 400mW, 500mW, 600mW green laser pointers with high stability and longer duty cycle.

I would shoot them an email. Gray has been extremely helpful in my decision with the laser and the options available.
