So recently I saw one of those ads on facebook for the Shadowhawk Green laser, able to pop balloons, visible beam, super far range ect. Well I bought one of the Shadowhawk Flashlights a couple months back, and it lived up to its ad as being super bright and so I thought well the laser must be good too. So I bite. Buy the thing ($56!) they send it. Its DOA. Tried multiple batteries and nothing. So I called and they sent a new one. It arrived a week later, and its weak as hell. NO visible beam. NOT hot. Does not burn anything. Its just a cheap laser like youd get in a gas station. Thats what ultimatly lead me to this forum. I started researching lasers. Glad I did. I called them and asked for a refund, which they gave me luckily.

But what is weird as I have read multiple reviews on this Shadowhawk green 532 and some people say yes they can see the beam and its amazing, while other people say its crap and doesnt do shit. So I don't know if they just have a bunch of random lasers they are sending people? or there are multiple companies posing as shadowhawk selling junk hoping to cash in on the scam?

I don't know. Just glad I got a refund. So Buyers beware of Shadowhawk Lasers. They are junk

Most of us here are already aware and I'm sure they are threads somewhere about them. They are cheap Chinese lasers that are sold elsewhere for $5 or so - the $5 ones are great for the money (although still hit and miss, or so I've heard), mine does >90mW. Lots of places try and pass them off as some super expensive high tech laser though.

Sorry you got burned :(

Sta, if you're reading this, I don't actually see them in your guide, may want to add them.

The Sanwu Pocket series are great, you'll be happy with that :). Keep in mind - they don't ship batteries with them. You'll need to pick up at least one 10440 and a charger for it.

I actually saw one of their ads on FB. And for some reason only good things in comments. So I added my own comment about how these lasers are just overpriced Chinese rebrands, that you can get on ebay for under $7. I'm pretty sure my comment got deleted (with all of the other negative comments I'm sure), as I never got any notifications of new comments for that thread.

I've never heard of shadowhawk but a tell tale sign of garbage is seeing that red fire battery. They disguise the laser as junk by packaging it to look good in the case. Hit or miss whether you get a nice visible beam.

Anything other than a positive review will be deleted. I've asked FB sellers how their lasers are any different from 301/303 lasers and every time my comment has been deleted within 12 hours.
