Recieved my DL HU 400mw






You can talk to Frank using the live support on his website. If you live anywhere near plains Pennsylvania I have a 5W laserbee meter I can test your laser with. If you don't live near me then I suggest you find someone near you or send it to a vet or another member on here. Perhaps they can figure out what's wrong with it if anything.

Edit: Maybe you can have Frank send a new unit too. I have spoken with Frank directly using the live support many tines. Usually it is him that is online. He's a very nice Guy and very helpful.

Hi there...

It's early in the morning here when live support get's online.
So i just sended an e-mail..

Also cleaned the tail cap today, and recharging my battery for the 3th time.


What i also notice, when there is no battery inside, when you shake the top a bit it sounds like something is loose.
When the battery is insurded it stops.

It's just strange that it takes so long before the actual beam is visable.
Maybe the laser diode and it's housing isn't touching the outershell for cooling.
No idea.

Cleaned the end cap, charged the battery.

Same results... Low beam ... Mid beam... goes low again *shiffers*, and goes to high ? with strobo effect.

No e-mail response yet.
 
Hello All.

I recieved e-mail form DL

They are sending me return information.

I tryed fresh new battery's and now it looks like a 1mw laserpointer while the red led on the pointer indicates fully charged.

With the LPM i bought from someone secondhand.
The first time it was over 400mw.
Then it went lower and lower. (leaving me thinking it is the lpm)
So i tryed everything.

Ordered the Laserbee II delux today to test the Spartan 1w Laser and my new replaced HU400 when they arrive.

Spartan should be here 6th of april.

I thought all green DPSS lasers hard a "warm up" phase. My WL E3 starts off low and unstable and after a couple of minutes it reaches its fullest glory.
 
sorry to hear all the stick youve gone through... i dont get very much luck either ,,,, maybe i should start to buy genuine lasers now..
 
Today i Recieved my new Dragonlasers Hulk Ultra 400mw replacement, and it's working perfect.

No rattling head or anything :yh:

Now my collection has bin growing sinds then..

I also have the:



Spartan Series 300mW Violet Handheld Laser
Spartan Series 100mW Red Handheld Laser
Spartan Series 1W Blue Handheld Laser, Rectangle Beam

I also bought a new flashlight (kinda puts out a laser beam ^^) ''Olight SR90 Intimidator''. 2200 Lumen.

Hmm well that lasted short...

My second laser they shipped me is showing this...

Yes i let it warm up and just put in a fresh pair of soshine 18650's

And yes i thought it was fine at first couse the output is 400+ mw on my lpm
And i don't use it so often.
But after closer inspection :(

Hmm looks like TEM01 or TEM10 , not sur what you can do about that.
 
Hi all,

I got a mail from Frank @ dragonlasers, and im not happy with his answer.

Here's the mail i got from him without even having seen pictures.

I spoke to our head technician about the problem you are having with your Hulk Ultra.

Basically he said TEM01 mode with two beams is normal for the Hulk Ultra at higher powers and replacing your laser again is not possible because the replacement may also have the same double beam. As long as the power of the laser is over 400mW, it is considered to be working well.

Normally if a customer has a working laser that they are not happy with, we can refund the laser within the first week. You have had your Hulk Ultra for over three months so that is not possible. If you are not happy with this outcome, we can give you an additional $100 coupon/discount on your next order.

Verysorry I can't give you a better result than this .......

I cannot accept this ?

I had a shot laser to begin with, but it atleast had a straight line comming out of it and not two dots and some half corona of green light comming out the side of the dot for as long it lasted.

So i send it back and it took over 2 months for the postal office to send it back (called my postal office why it took so long, they said couse they had to move the location in china were all packages arrive (couse of some reason ? maybe the eathquake in japan ? Who knows)

Anyway's i feel like in other words i can sod off :(

what's your opinion about this ?

Smeerworst, send it back for the refund and for the same money get the same laser with >700mW output from CNI or JETLASERS - wih a nice TEM00 dot!!

This is how they treat you. They are saying my laser is working fine just couse the output in mw is right and i cannot refund it.

This is madness!
Saying i'm having the laser over 3 months ? when it took atleast 2 months to ship it back ?
And what about the replacement laser they gave me ?
I don't have that 3 months!

The beam allready splits 2 meters away... (The beam is HUGE with a big black bar between it) ( 1,3 cm in thickness!)
