hey i got mine today to lol was lucky to order one also and even with the standard battries i ened up smoking my dash at 2' away. and with nimh battries it burns any thing even lite a match insdie a flask that was cool i put the pic on the dx 200mw page tho they didnt turn out to good. anways i was wonder do you have the bad beam divergences as me. caus at 1' its 1mm in diameter and at 12' its 1cm in diameter is that very good?
and o ya how much power do lithium battries have 1.5v or more?

i added an ir filter also just made it take a lil wile longer to light the match. and mine seems to be 2-3x as bright as my 50mw dx was dont kno if this one is good or if my olde one was bad but mine will smoke any black plastic/rubber even some red carpte and stuf. the only thing i have found not to smoke would be ummmm white objects. one cool thing i did was a water proof match in rubbing alchol that lookd cool but ya how do i refocus?

whould you hapen to kno whare i could buy a collimation lens and how much they cost?
and i check on how to open them and ya it dosent seem easy would be afraid i would break it

ok i just did a test and at 53ft i had a dot that was 3.5cm in diameter so that gives me a mrad value of 2.2 now i have bene looking to buy one of thos collimater things but i havent found the right thing is their any other names for them

ok thank you but i think first i will try to turn the lesne it dosent look that hard aslong as i dont scratch it then i would be mad but anways it dosent look that bad of a job hopefly improbe it some what
