Hey Guys, like in the earlier thread, I decided to either go with RayFoss (cheap and gets job done) or Optotronics (a bit more expensive, but people say better quality than RayFoss and less expensive than WL) :tired:

My first choice is RayFoss (I cna get a 50 and a 30 mW laser with defractor heads for the same price as the Optotronics laser), but I got an email back from Faona saying they wanted payment through PayPal. I never had an account with them, but had a really bad experience...apparantly someone used an old credit card # of mine (that was actually cancelled awhile back) and opened up a paypal account and the deal actually went through. It was a nightmare trying to get Paypal to actually deal with the credit card company and resolve the issue (it was the credit card company's fault for allowing the charge on a closed account).
Anyway, I want to pay through either Amex or Mastercard. Is that do-able? :can: Any suggestions?:thanks:

paypal does offer a one time purchase without opening a full blown account with them.

I use that feature to sell annual passes to my park rather often.

Thanks Photo...I hear you. I just shudder at the thought of using Paypal at all. It was really a nightmare (and I hear about them sending customer notices, apologizing for possibly losing sensitive customer data etc.). I'd really rather just use my credit card (which Optotronics and O-like gladly accept)

Then go with them, its probably best that way.

I just had to go open a savings account special to get my paypal verified, I will not link them to my checking account.
