This thread is state of the art discussion, professional and factual.
Good work here men.

Please state what size YVO & KDP crystals and what/if pump beam shaping optics are used
in these handheld lasers.

I'm trying to learn something and reach the higher level from this discussion too.

Thanks,
DGM

I've noticed that, aside from not showing the wavelength and the power, the label on the green RPLs says that there is "VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE" laser radiation. Does this mean that the green RPLs emit more residual IR than most other lasers? If not, the label should probably be changed.

I've also got a second question. An Aries/RPL-sized laser can handle a 2.5 W pump diode if it has a duty cycle, and a Hercules-sized laser can continuously handle a 2.5 W pump diode. If a Hercules-sized laser were to use a duty cycle of 5 minutes on/1 minute off (which is recommended for many lasers), how powerful of a pump diode would it be able to handle?

Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know about the 2.5W difference Jack and Nono. All future units I sell will contain the 2.5W n light diode unless stated otherwise.
