Is it over 5mW? If it is, than yes, you should. If it can pop balloons, imagine what it would do to your eye! I wouldn't wear it when just pointing it around outside, but when burning and using it indoors, use goggles.

well I have an Alpha 105 and I use safety glasses with it (just got them after about 2 months of having the alpha and my vision is fine but I was cautious with it...very cautious)
