Hey guys, I've just had an awesome idea, why shouldn't I do a laser projector, that would automatically react to music, and would light after the music rhythm. Here's an example of what I want Laser show , of course, it would be more than enough 1 laser projector and other things that I would need... I couldn't find any tutorials of how to make it, because all things were only things that just show laser effects, but doesn't shows effects after the music rhythm... I saw earlier in one video, that it is just a box, and when u put it on the speaker, it lights after the music that is played... Would be nice to have all the links for the things I'll need...

P.S. Sorry for bad English... if you didn't understand what i want, i will try to repeat it...

OK, so, I've founded out, that i need a laser projector with sound-mode, anybody could give me a tutorial, and the links to all the things that i'll need to make this projector ? If it is really that thing that I want, on ebay it costs 120$ ( HERE ), well, little expensive, and I don't know is it exactly the thing i want..

Many laser projectors have a sound-mode, where they react to music and change the intensity of the show to the beat. The show you linked is pre-programmed though.

then how could i make any sound-mode laser projector? it can be simple, one color projector, but that it would be, err.... wide laser show, like much long lines, but not like circles... and that it also could be showable in big chamber, or hall...

if you want it to look fancy, you would have to pre-program it like Grix said, and work with galvanometers or "scanners" otherwise you will only end up with random patterns that move to the rhythm of the music.

Also, be very careful with these "shows" as you can easily blind people

start reading on the "laser shows" topics in this forum. you will find different designs that people use to create laser spirographs and other types of laser shows

particularly this if you want to recreate what you saw in your link

well, i've red the topics tons of times, but i understood only one thing - i didn't understand anything. Ahhh, all those shorten names, and etc... couldn't there simply be a video or a guide with photos that would be easy understandable ?... please, people, somebody help me... i can construct simple laser projector, like this : YouTube - DIY How to make a green laser projector in 20 minutes!!! , but i dont think that you could even call that a laser projector... I need sound-activation mode on it, but how to create it - nobody says without any "secret" language...

You cant "make" sound activation, it would come as part of the scanner kit that you would purchase.

Something like... Lasershow Parts - SCANPRO Series 20Kpps Galvonometer System + "Lasershow Player Board"
make sure that if you don't buy this one I linked to that whatever you get has a "Lasershow Player Board" or else you will need a computer and program and lots of $$$$.

BE WARNED- every laser that I have ever seen run Sound Active SUCKS big time. Yoy will be disappointed with its preformance. That being said, you can always use the DMX feature to program a show using the built in images. A DMX board can cost you <$75 and If you realy want to get into it you can always make a soundcard DAC and purchase spaghetti.

dont do that. start small, and learn on how they work. you dont want to jump into a big project for your first one, because it will be frustrating.
plus you need to do a lot more reading. and reading on safety precautions because this "show" is something you are going to want to "show" people (lol) and to be able to get an even amount of color you would need, per say 200mW or more of red for like 50mW of green, and that is something you dont want to be shining on peoples eyes.
