potmod problem

I have classic style dealextreme 50mW laser
I cant pot mod it!
I tried to pull out the driver but i cant
also to make a hole in case but it a lot higher than the pot..
anybody knows how to remove the driver and diode to pot mod it?

Bad idea to make two treads for the same thing, did you think no one seen the first thread like this you made ?
Don't pot mod your laser unless you don't care about having it for long, as you were told befor it's only good for cheap 5mW lasers if you want a more powerfull laser buy one. if you turn that one up your only going to get a few more photons out of it and only for a short time then you will be lucky if you have a led.
