By the description on the only "NIB Tactical 35MW GREEN LASER Sight w/ KNIGHT Mount" I found on ebay, they sure have no idea what they're talking about :

By the looks of it, all you need to do to remove the gun mount is to loosen the 3 hex screws and slide the laser out.I don't really see what you want to do by modifying 35mW into xxmW, sorry....

But seriously , after reading that description I would advise you not to buy this 635mn green laser :

, it's most likely some sort of scam.

take it apart and if it has a pot on the pcb turn it up a little bit more.... :-/

The pot is a little thing on the driver board that looks like a screw. You can adjust it for higher powers. BUT: doing this might shorten the life of the laser. And it only works with some DPSS greens... (does anyone know if this would work for blues or yellows?)
And personally, I wouldn't buy it. In the description it says it is a green laser... then it says 635nm? 635nm is an orangish-red color. Kinda contradicting... ebay is not a good place to find a laser.

My recommendation: If you already bought it and it is really green, don't mod it if you have no idea what you are doing...
If you haven't bought it yet, don't. You'll probably get ripped off.

I already bought one but not from ebay it is from kaidomain dot com. But im planning to buy one from dealextremedot com the LXGD Green Laser Sight for Guns (JG-10A) it is a 20mw green laser. is this laser advisable for playing airsoft or paintball?

you shouldn't use it for paintball, as you could seriously cause someone else serious eye damage.

anything over 5mw can easily cause eye damage

If you want to play paintball with it go find a <5mw gun sight, ive seen them before and a few are green.

Well your questions had been answered, but just for te record, a pcb is a printed circuit board.And the pot is(for the record also) a potentiometer, basicaly a variable resistor, and yes, the pot on a laser driver board would be very small and usually looks like a screw.But anyway, if you want to use that for paintball it's not a good idea to modify it for more power.Stick to the sopposedly eye safe 5mW.

or you could do the oppist of what you were saying and turn it down to an eye safe 5-10 mw and then use it for paint ball but who needs a laser anways not like pait balls are accurate unless you have the hammerhead barral and an AutoMag
