Has anyone done tests on this diode to determine it's output through varying mA? DTR site says 120mw. Doesn't specify the current setting though. Are they capable of 200mw, 250mw? Any input is appreciated.

Here is DTR's thread on it. I've seen people getting 200mW out of them. The one I got I plan to run at 550mA to get ~200mW.

mine does 203mW but i cannot remember the current? i think it was 550mA( not sure) i personaly think it has awsome beam specs for a multimode diode, even with a G2 or other single element lens, you wont regret a build with this diode!

It is my next build or buy for sure. Need a 520 in my collection.

If you're getting 203mW that is pretty good. I'm getting 141mW with a build set at the same current. I've noticed distinctive "wings" but It's not a bad diode. After testing I switched over to an acrylic lens and I just use it as an astronomy pointer.
