Your probably won't be scammed but you will be better off ordering from a more known company like laserlands or o-like

Hi lasercreator95,

Difficult to say one way or another. There are 100mW modules out there, from reputable dealers like O-like.com, that regularly arrive on spec or over spec. There are probably more that do not even come close to advertised. My opinion is that the price seems too good to be true. O-like for example sells a similar powered module for about $55 but it will be just as described and reviews abound regards the service and quality.

The figures make me feel uneasy too. 100mW at 3.7-4.2V? This alone doesn't give me good vibes! There are other modules from that supplier that state 50mW at 3.0V. Put 3.7-4.2V into those and you may get close to 100mW but you'd be overdriving them, (the pictures of those two products actually look different too but you get my drift).

If you've got the cash and equipment to spare then why not check them out. Always good to find a new distributor of cheap, quality goods! But if you're just after a good quality item for a build then I would stick to trusted sites as mentioned above. Check out the, 'Company Reviews', section although I think you'll end up on Susie's site, (o-like.com), pretty quickly and you won't regret that either...

Let us know how you get on.
