Definitely a tough call, personally I prefer silver but not by much. HOWEVER the polished aluminum finish does provide better thermal conductivity. So due to that, silver hands down.

I guess I'm the odd one out. I prefer the black.... I bought the RPL-425....so I figured that the beam by itself is going to attract enough attention... Also, something about black gives it a classic look.

Silver looks great too, tho!

Usually I would tend to go for black for a classic and clean look, but after seeing jayrob's silver RPL I have been converted to the bright side :can:
Silver looks so brilliant for the RPL!
