Hi, i'm new to the forum as a member, but, i've been lurking for a little while.  I just wanted an opinion on 2 lasers.

The first one, if you chose the 100mW power comes out to $67.87, or something very close to that.  Heres the link:
www szwholesale com/real-50mw200mw-532nm-green-laserlzxb02-p-2630.html?osCsid=0b2dbdf35e0e1e7d838f4cdc128abdc4 (replace the spaces with .)

The second one is from the same site, but is 200mW.  This part confuses me, its a bit cheaper than the last one and comes in at around $60.  Heres the link: www szwholesale com/200mw-532nm-green-laserl200v1-p-2346.html (replace the spaces with .)

So like i said earlier, opinions?  Should i buy either one? which one? neither? etc.

I ordered Toplaser 200mw from them (not on the site anymore), never got it after 3 months. Apparently they had no intentions of ever stocking it.... :-/

Aside from their customer service, I've read on the forum that some of their lasers actually perform pretty darn close to spec, which is extremely unusual from Chinese sellers (CNI and O-like exceptions). The lasers bought from them were 50mw, they probably use the same pump for larger powers. :( Simply meaning the higher the mW rating the more off spec it will probably be.

You can go ahead and take a gamble with them, and tell us the results. Personally I do not recommend that you get the $60 200mw one, as that one is surely under spec, you'll get screwed over, just by how much, ....well that would be interesting to find out. ::)

As for me I'm planning to take a chance with the Qualifound 150mw sexy host laser, also know as: http://qualifound.com/b2b_cpinfo.asp?id=906

So far all questions I've asked Faona came back with a satisfying and prompt response, at this point she is involved with the community and providing great service, so she deserves some green :D

Well, for you maybe, he is looking for something cheap. As noted by his want to spend less than $70, i realize he can't even expect true 200 for even double that price. The real problem here is that, he is just not addicted enough to lasers to spend more money ;D.

I agree, O-like seems like the best solution here. This is probably the most power you'll get for <150$.

That actually looks pretty good randomlugia. Quick comment/question though. Since its a pen laser, it has a short duty cycle, right? And if so, would the darkhorse custom ES Pen-'sink fit on it? I still cant post links so you can find the link to his site at the bottom of the page and just go to heatsinks.

The duty cycle isn't too short, but I wouldn't leave it on very long. You can look up Jayrob's "easy green" kit, and use an O-like module. You would get a LOT of heatsinking that way.
