Is there anything i need to do prior to firing it up?, i am expecting the rest of the laser tomorrow! do i need to warm it up etc or charge the batterys anymore as i guess there won't be a meter on the battery charger telling me how long they need charging for or if charged!
Does anyone know if they got their stickers, instructions seperate too? from o-like. To avoid customs issues!

I bought a few lasers from o-like, performed as expected.

Bought a 30mW green, very bright, tight beam, small divergence, I can't even tell if the beam focuses further out or past infinity. Runs poorly on 2xAAA, but runs well on a battery that was reading 3.8V. On 30 off 15.

Bought a 10mW blu-ray. My First blu-ray. Runs beautifully off it's 2xAAA. Came with a focusable lens. coerces poofs of smoke out of wallets when focused down at 4 or 5 inches or less. Makes me think my laser might be over spec.

Both of mine came with the stickers on it, they were only 30 and 10. Didn't request stickers shipped separately or anything, though. Haven't bought a big one yet, gonna buy some goggles first.

I'm thinking they shipped stickers & instructions sererate as to not show what mW the laser was if it was stopped at customs!
The divergence is 2.0 i was told be o-like, i'm unsure if that means when not focused! & at what distance!

Mine comes with 2 batteries, a 18650 Lithium battery & a 16340 CR123A Lithium battery!
I guess these are 3.8volts & the best i can use for this laser!?

thanks

Am posting this in the hope that i will receive my 2nd parcel of batteries, stickers & tail cap tomorrow if not v.soon as i've noticed here that when people do, they get their packages straight away:D

Both packages were sent Jan 4th, i got my laser on the 9th & am now awaiting the rest!
I'm assuming as they were both posted at the same time as Susie says, the 2nd one won't be far behind, although the 2nd isn't trackable.
Hong Kong post says it's 6-8 days to UK & tomorrow is working day 7!! so i'm hoping tomorrow!!
Has anyone experience of 2nd parcel time, as i believe for some reason, it takes longer!!, even though posted together, which is kinda strange!!

These are some good questions, would be nice to see someone answer these as I just received my Laser and been wondering the same things.

I would also like to know if these is a brake-in period with these Lasers, because mine was not burning that great yesterday, now today after much use it is burning much better. :)

I was mistaken earlier, my blu-ray did not come with a sticker. I didn't ask for stickers, so I don't know about second mailing of stickers.

Lithium Ion batteries:

Charging terminates at 4.2V, on-cell protection (for protected cells only) kicks in at ~2.6V and 4.25V. You should not let your cells drop below 2.6V, and it is best for the cells to be stored at 3.6V.

Also, avoid charging at currents higher than 1C if you have a custom charger of some sort. In fact, if you have a custom charger, you should go learn everything you can about lithium ion cells, because unprotected they can be very dangerous.

Summary: don't overcharge (>4.25V) them, don't overdischarge (<2.6V) them, and don't short them.
