through a tip from jcranmer i was able to snag this ednalite green pointer.
it only puts out 6mW, but it does have nice beam specs. the heavy aluminum host takes 2 c 1.5V batteries and is and very well machined.
i have a 635nm red ednalite pointer that was purchased from jcranmer a while back that completes the set.
low powers can be a lot of fun too

yes, low power green are fun. They are still bright enough.
I wonder could it fits the blue laser modules from Lasever ?

Thats one big green pointer ;)

I wonder how much current something that old requires to produce 6 mW - could you measure it? Its probably so inefficient it requires those C batteries :D

seems you can still buy them @ Welcome to Dsan.
my pointer doesn't look to be that old, it may be the standard green module we know and love inside. i'll ask the seller for any history on it, he's just across the river.
