I would like to share with you this 520nm build. Hope you enjoy it great host and a great diode mated....
In it is ::
Full Copper host by Ehgemus
NUGMO1T/520nm/1W diode full copper module by Jordan (DTR)
2.4A SXD driver Heat sinked in the host by Angelos (Lazeerer)
G2 Lens by AixiZ
2-Panasonic 18650 Cells
Would like to thank all the great merchants here who made this possible keep up the good work. Now some pics to go with it;

Looking good Rich, I can see your diode decanning tool in the background LOL one of the greatest inventions ever. :gj:

Hi Alan,
Thank very much appreciated yes it is a great invention .Makes the process that much easier without a large failure rate. saves a lot of headaches . I just love copper and with the full cu module inside with some Arctic AL wow had it on for 2 min 45 sec and was a little warm. This diode is super bright. My two 520/700's are half as bright and i though it couldn't get much better .

Very nice, I bet the heat moves all the way to the back of the host.

Hi E,..
yes it does move right down towards the tail cap direction. Had enough room in the battery tube to sink the SXD nicely. This way i could use the full CU module dedicated to the heat sink runs nice and cool. Thank You your a wizard at this buddy not to many make a full CU host it's a shame there so efficient no joke.. Stick around we need you her Pal good job..

That's a keeper, lol.
I am appreciating copper more and more myself, I suppose a liquid metal cleaner used sparingly would work better than micro grit metal polish for taking off tarnish down the road? I usually use metal polish, but if you already have a mirror finish maybe liquid cleaner would be better?

Hi Red,
I use a soft cotton rag to wipe the smudges off it won't scratch the finish. I ordered some buffing compound like the certain ones you said it's coming soon. Flitz is a great polish for all metals comes in a tube i love it..I don't mind cleaning copper it look like a million when your done..

That is awesome mate, love it! The highest power green I have is the plp520 b1 150ma and I love it, that beast must be so bright!

Hi,Bad,
Yes it is very bright, compared to my 2- NDG700 and my PLP520 B1 it's the most powerful 520nm out of all of them. Much more laminating than any 450nm or 455nm i have also. Thanks again for checking it out buddy..

Rich:)

@ Alien,
Ot did not get warm to much ,i heat sinked and isolated the driver in the battery tube separately . And then having the diode in a full CU module dedicated exstremely to the hosts heat sink. I ran this build for 2 min 45 sec just a little warm, heat is dissipated nicely. Thanks for looking ..

yes and that thing can put dot on the cloud as well. and it will always give a solid beam even in daylight if you view at the right angle. and you seem to have an efficient diode.

Hi FU,
I took it outside last night reflection off the clouds were awesome. Yes this is a very efficient diode very happy. I have 2 NDG700's on LPM's at 1100mW and the other at 900+ both drivers at 1.8A, So it is luck of the draw if they aren't binned, some are better than others.
Thanks for the reply always

HaHaHa!! Im sorry I found that to funny:eek: in a good way.
Always love your builds, but werent we suppose to spray some clear coat on a bar of copper or brass to see how long it would hold it shine a while back on a thread, or was I supposed to be me oops.

Hi G,
Was that you who recommended that finishing with a clear coat ? If that was i'm so sorry sometime we posts replies and to so many they just get lost space LOL.. Well polishing is a lot faster and easier now i have converted my grinder to a polisher/buffer. I have all my builds in hinged cases with ESD foam i acquired from a company in work, so they don't tarnish to fast. I'm going to look into clear metal sprays sounds like another quest.

Im stareing at a can of clear coat as we speak and I can probably find piece of copper or brass wether its a knob or washer, im just to lazy to polish it right now how sad it that:whistle: but you got a good set up their Lifetime and it must be fun getting that mirror finish.
