The switch on my x-series (CNI) laser works fine. However you need to give it a good push before it engages. I've noticed if I use the laser for a while it leaves my fingertip strangely numb afterwards. Doesn't matter what finger or thumb I use. I'm guessing it's just because I've got to push fairly hard before it contacts. In my more paranoid moments I wonder if some IR light is leaking out through the switch and slowly cooking my finger .. :-/

Anyone else notice this??

If you try shoving a little bit of aluminum foil in the endcap and I bet you won't have to push your button near as hard so you won't get tingly fingers!

Naa it's not leaking IR there. Yea I sent on of mine back for that. The second one they sent me was about the same. I think it is just paranoia. I purchased the keyswitch to go with it and it works fine for me. The keyswitch give the same effect as some foil in the back of the cap. I would give that trick a try.
