Nova X-105 broken?

hey all,

i'm wondering if my X105 is broken, the collumination seems to be good but theres alot of light around the dot also. at first it wasnt doing this, then I put it down on the table for a while, and the next moment its like this. I think it'd be strange if there would be dirt in the lens at once, because i was inside and only put it down on the table for a while.

Here are some pics, the camera doesn't really show it but the dot is still cleary visible.

I hope someone can tell me what the problem could be  :'(

I'm not sure if what your seeing is normal. At night, I can see an aura around my green dot. Most likely, its the green light hitting the wall and coming back at you and it looks like that.

I mean, that is what happens, but I'm not sure if thats what your seeing.

It's not the usual light you see, i'm sure because it used to work fine. At two meters distance, the diameter of the light circle is about 1 meter, but there's still a dot. I am going to buy a lenspen to clean it. I guess it is dirt wich got in somehow, although i was inside.

If you were burning anything up close there is a possibility your lens got dirty from the smoke. From the pics you posted it does look like the lens might be dirty but it is hard to tell.

got some lens cleaning stuff from a local store and it's working fine now
