Can you use your member discount and lightyears on the same purchase?

Sorry but no. But at least it gives you a boost when you start submitting images and vidoes for lightyears.

What about- and stop me if this is actually the OP's question- earning lightyears on a purchase you made that you used the forum's discount code on?

I'm probably going to purchase an X-65 soon, and from what I can see, I'd earn approximately the same amount in lightyears as I would save using the discount.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but am I best off *not* ordering any accessories up-front, because I'm going to get a 15% discount on them on subsequent orders?

Correct on all accounts, I think You earn lightyears with each purchase, provided you become a member, of course.

What I suggest you do, is order your laser, with the membership - and lightyears bonus first, and USE the forum discount !!! Then after you have received that, and it is credited to your account, you then can place an order - you can only use one discount CODE at a time.. you can always give someone credit for referring you, in the comments section - but you CAN use lightyears, and one discount code at teh same time if you like....

now the 15% discount is only on accessories, and I think it is limited to the accessories SECTION on their site, But I am not 100% certain about that. I would try it a few different ways when you place your order - see which way gets you the best discount. I am going to order some goggles from them soon using lightyears, and possibly some other accessories - in which case I will try many different ways to order until I get teh way that is least expensive
