Nova laser will replace my DX!

Well I decided since my DX-30 died after 5 days, maybe I should head over to Nova Lasers. I just bought their Green X45. I would imagine I'll be happier with it.

As far as the DX laser, I took it apart, removed the switch and manually closed the circuit and I was still only getting a faint, green dot. Oh well, maybe it's in the circuitry.

DX did offer me $15 credit so I am going to see if I can get the new keychain greenie 10 mW that they offer.

Oh yeah, I meant to add that the switch on the DX laser was a VERY wimpy switch compared to a switch on an old red laser that I took apart.

I would also suggest that anyone with a DX laser remove the foam surround that encircles the spring contact and wedge something under the circuit board on the opposite side as the switch, just to make it more stable. I noticed that when the switch is pressed, there is alot of movement of the circuit board.
