Why ? 3mm from .5ft and 15mm at 50ft ? Calculates to 0.7953549583mRad whats wrong with that?

My phone cannot pick up laser beam although it is quite bright, I will try with a camera maybe later. Also I only have a tape measure to 25ft

.8 mRad does seem suspiciously good.

50 feet or 25 or yards what is it now ? you can take 10 big steps right and im sure your phone will pickup the dot but i never seen a green laser doing .8 mRad to be honest

Uhm... Something is definitely wrong with the measurements. First it's 24 yards, then 50 feet, but the dot size remains the same despite a 25' change in distance...
Time to measure again. With glasses, carefully, and at multiple distances. Do 10 feet, 25 feet, 50 feet and 75 feet.
You should see should the same exact number each time when it comes to divergence but certainly NOT when it comes to the dot size.

Sorry I am terrible at measuring by eye I did a test at 10ft (using tape measure) the beam started at 1mm from 1inch to 5mm at 8ft 1.3mRad I was confused before about the measurment before that is why it went from 25yards to 50ft I thought it was farther than it actually was Sorry for wasting your time

yeah and that is why i did not belive you straight on only gas lasers or single mode diodes do less then 1 mRad ( most cases ) not talking about DPSS lab lasers starting @ 500 dollars
