WOW! That's a huge difference in efficiency. These diodes will dissipate a great deal of heat the more they are pushed and with a 14.1% efficiency at 1. 01 watts, I can't help but wonder when they will start to fail. Thank you for the information, LarryDFW. I believe that copper hosts will be the only way to go for this diode. I would hate to see a $720.00 diode fail so early after purchasing it when 1 watt output needs 6 watts of heat dissipated.
