Only reason I know about suing is that I've been sued. It's disturbingly easy, and easy to abuse. Helps to explain why we have so many lawyers in our society.

Good luck with paypal, and post updates.

Well I didn't get anywhere with paypal. I tried to explain the entire situation and they pretty much just told me that after 45 days they're not responsible. I asked what I could do and they told me I should continue trying to contact the seller.

Actually, truth be told, same here, but I only deposit money into that account which I intend to spend... kind of a hassle, but it does provide a hard stop to any kind of fraud related issues.

What you could also do, is, paypal asks for a backup funding source, keep the account at zero, and if you want to make a purchase it will draw from the CC.

CJ. This may seem strange, but did you try to contact Faona using MSN messenger?
rayfoss.com@hotmail.com is her MSN handle, also she is on when it's daytime in China.
Maybe all your mails are going into her junk mail. It's not like her at all to ignore any of her customers.

If I see her online I'll pasted this thread to her. I had a few questions about a couple of their lasers anyway.

Seems stupid for a company to ignore a client, especially to the detriment of the company reputation. I mean I'm a lot less likely to order from rayfoss now... So I doubt this is happening on purpose, quite possible as Ash says that it's just going to spam.

Anyway, good luck, keep us posted.

Thanks a bunch. At this point I'd be happy to get anything back, be it my money or another (WORKING) laser.

Well, IMO since the laser is dead through no fault of yours, she should have you ship it back to her, check it, and if it is in fact a factory fault, ship you a replacement. You'd be out on the shipping back to her, which from US is $35, but at least you would get a working laser.

Personally for next laser I'm going to buy from someone on this forum. Already did that once, and couldn't be happier. Ordered on monday night, had the laser in hand on wednesday, as advertised and no customs to worry about.

Yup, I'm serious. $34.50 to be exact. I had to ship a laser back to O-like, and just sent it out on monday. Maybe it would be cheaper with UPS or DHL or something else, but I was sending out my taxes at the same time. With USPS express mail was the only trackable option.

So far my 400mW 532nm from O-like has cost me $56.50 on shipping alone, $22 for expedited shipping on original order and $34.50 to ship back:(

-sigh- Being broke and in college sucks. Should have never bought the damn thing. I didn't think the shipping would be very much because I only paid $5 for the shipping when I bought it.

Shipping from china is always cheaper. Regular mail would probably be cheaper too.. but I don't see the point in sending the laser anywhere without tracking.

As far as contacting them...

Customer Service Email & MSN: rayfoss.com@hotmail.com

Business cooperation:qualifound@hotmail.com

Tel & Fax :0086-755-81797956

24 hours Hotline:0086-15012981659

Try calling? During their business hours though. Via Skype it shouldn't cost much.

Sorry, but no. I refuse to pay to get in contact with a company when I should be able to do it for free. Maybe I should try sending emails to the qualifound address though.
